How does God handle His anointed who have fallen but repented?
Does God change His plans He has for his anointed ones who fell from grace and then returned unto the Lord with absolute repentance and acknowledgement of their wrong doings? Will He still accomplish this good purpose in the lives of His chosen?

Many Christians are concerned about sinning and how their sin affects their relationship with God. Let's look at what God has done and not forget who we are. Let's start before the beginning of us. God knew what sins we would commit before we were born correct. So He sent Jesus to die for all the sins we would commit before we were born correct. Then Jesus' sacrifice was for the sins we had not committed yet. Now we are in today with our sins paid for by Jesus. Once we are born again we are the righteousness of God in Christ. 1 John 3:4-6 says we born again Christians don't sin since we are in Him. Since we are the righteousness of God in Christ and His righteousness remains forever, when would we lose our righteousness? We cannot, there is no place in the bible that says we can. Let's look at what/who we are. We are a spirit, we live in a body and have a soul (mind will emotions) Our spirit is what got born again, it is our spirit that goes to heaven, in our body or flesh. Flesh and blood do not enter heaven but flesh and bone. Blood cannot enter heaven because in blood is DNA mans DNA contains sin, Paul said in Romans 7 that sin is in our flesh, blood. Jesus blood was the only blood without sin in the DNA that is why He was the perfect sacrifice. The shedding of blood is for the remission of sin. God did not want the sin offerings as said in Hebrews because it must be of sinless blood. Animals blood is sinless however it does not hold the same value as human blood. When we become born again, our spirit is born again and that is what goes to heaven. Our spirit is born of the Spirit of God, so in spite of the things we do or did all of our sin was covered before we were born and it will stay that way once we get born again. But you must be born again to maintain this sinless life. To repent only means to change your mind about something, however Christians think it is a get out of hell card. It is not, born again Christians have Jesus as their get out of hell card. Once we start thinking that we can repent (do something to get out of hell) we have gone back to the law, dead works. Hebrews 6:1 says to stop the elementary stuff and grow up, not going back to dead works but keep having faith in God. It is of grace through faith we are saved. God provided the both, He gave us grace and then since He gives every man a measure of faith He gave us the faith to receive the grace He provided. So all we have to do is say yes to salvation and we are in. The thieves on the cross, one told Jesus to "DO" something, come down and save yourself and us". The other just believed Jesus was who He said He was, the thief used his faith and Jesus told him that he would be with Him in paradise. The first thief wanted Jesus to operate in His flesh and do good works but Jesus kept on using His faith knowing that God would raise Him from the dead. We must do the same, we must keep on believing that God will raise us from the dead in spite of the things we do. Jesus had the sin of the whole world on Him, in other words Jesus committed every sin know to man at that point, (2 Cor 5:21 God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.) NIV I could go on and on, however we must realize Jesus took our sin and it is gone, now we must focus on our righteousness not our sin, since we are not to be sin conscious, Heb 10:2. If we don't change our mind about some of the things we do we may suffer the consequences on earth of wrong doing. IE Alcoholism=kidney failure, lack of money, divorce, loss of job etc. It cannot affect going to heaven, no sin can because that would be saying that your sin is greater than Jesus' sacrifice, and it is not. The only sin that affects whether we go to heaven is by not receiving what Jesus did on the cross, like the thief. Paul said in Romans that if you go under the law (good works) you have fallen from grace. Stay under grace by faith. :)

In my opinion God is a promise keeper. He has a plan for your life and that plan and that destiny is a promise. God loves you and treats you as a son or daughter whom He loves. The parable of the prodigal son comes to mind, the Father in that story runs to His son while His son is still a ways off, He restores His son to His place in the family and His destiny. I believe He will accomplish the good work that He has started in you through Christ Jesus.

The key word in this question to me is 'anointed'. To anoint is to consecrate/ make sacred. As Christians we have already been anointed and made holy in God's eyes through Jesus's sacrifice. As Jim Tumlinson said below, once we are born again we are the righteousness of God in Christ. God looks at us the same way he looks at Jesus, unblemished and free of sin. God forgave us before we were ever born because He knew what Jesus was going to do and that includes future sins (all our sins were future sins to Jesus on the cross because we weren't alive yet). So how can anyone (even ourselves) say a sin will keep us from righteousness when that sin is already forgiven? The main problem I've seen that people have with sin and forgiveness is their guilt.They feel guilty and start condemning themselves. They feel like they ought to be punished when all they have to do is ask God to forgive them (they've realized their sin and repent of it) and move on in their walk with the indwelling Jesus. The guilt we have over sin is punishment enough. Even more than the prodigal son's father, our Father loves us and wants us to love Him in return. God knows we'll stumble throughout life and its up to us to take Him at His word that our sins were forgiven before we were born and to live a grace filled life. People cause themselves way more suffering than they need to by feeling guilty, especially if that guilt is provided by someone else judging them instead of hugging them and loving them and reminding them that God already forgave them and its time to move on in their grace walk.

Good question. God used David after his adultery and murder. God used Moses and Abraham after their sins. So I think the short answer would be yes. However I think that their are consequences for rebellion. Just as a good father still loves His child but will punish them for disobedience.

God loved and forgave me. I am forgiven. I have repented of my sin. I experience grace. I believe that others like myself and I have a resposibility to accept the consequences of our actions as well as tell our testimonies of God's grace and love so others dying under the pain of sin and shame can have hope in Jesus and ultimately new lives . Romans 8:1-3

God sent Jonah to proclaim that devastation was going to hit Nineveh if they didn’t change their corrupt ways. And sure enough as soon as the King heard of the wrath that was to come the King and the whole entire town changed immediately, not just in word but in actions. The Lord changed his mind and healed their land Jonah 3. The only sin that is unforgiveable is blasphemy. Therefore there is nothing anyone could do that the Lord would not forgive them for and restore back to right fellowship in him and in most cases he promotes them to a higher echelon of service in him. The key is to any restoration is to turn completely from the error and it must be evident, suddenly and an immediate kind of change and not give me a few weeks and then I’ll change. Now there are times when the Lord will reprimand that person privately. And then there occasions when the Lord will expose one of his anointed publicly and still restore them higher than they were before.

Remember this. No person has the ability to sin beyond the Lords capacity to forgive. He will administer divine correction, but He wants to forgive us as we sin.
