I believe that praying the WORD is the way to go.
1. Isa. 43:26 Put me in remembrance: let us plead together: declare thou, that thou mayest be justified.
In this passage God reminds Israel of their failure, but in the context, v18 -- v28 He sets out their case.
I believe the lesson to learn is that God refers to His covenant promises to the nation, and that even though they are under judgement He give them grounds of approach, to beseech Him. An example can also be found in Isa. 1:18. Here we have a description of their condition and its intensity.
However they walk away with the promise and assurance of cleansing.
Praying the word tells us what the answer will be, even though we may call to mind our failure.

Prayer is opening your heart to God, sharing your needs with him,and also fellow shipping with him, these should be spontaneous and honest, praying scriptures is also right, because the Lord says..'' I will watch over my Word to perform it.
Praying scriptures simply means reminding God of his Promises.
Which He is Faithful to fulfil.

Quoting scriptures puts the Lord in remembrance of his promises to you; Isaiah 43:26. However I’m learning that Ecclesiastes the 3rd chapter really comes into play in prayers being answered. There is an appointed season and a time within that season that the Lord disburses everyone’s blessings.
