Many people understand Genesis 6:3 to be a 120-year age limit on humanity, "Then the LORD said, "My Spirit will not contend with man forever, for he is mortal; his days will be a hundred and twenty...

Ps 90:10: The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.

This seems to be the number of years that we have been given to live out our lives. Some by reason of strength, genetics, etc., may even exceed 80 and live to be 90, 100, or more. My mother and her sister lived to be 99. My father lived to be 87. In fact, most of my elders had amazing longevity. I am in amazing health and strength at 80. I pray to live until the return of my lord and savior Jesus. If I live to be as old as my mother I believe I will see that day!

No, there is not. The only reference in Scripture that people have at times used to suggest an age limit was when God told Noah the flood would occur in 120 years. However, seeing as Noah and other people after the flood lived longer than 120 years, we know that God was referring to when the flood would occur, and not how long people would live for.

So, even though as time wears on and our genetic code continues to degrade, naturally shortening our lifespan, so conversely medical technology progresses, balancing that and lengthening our days.

After the flood, the human's lifespan was considerable shortened. Among others, the introduction of animal products in human diet could have been a contributing factor (Genesis 9.1-5). Also the sin and genetic material degradation, the scarcity food and access to quality healthcare in many place on this planet, together with unhealthy lifestyle practices, most likely reduced the human life expectancy.

In US, the life expectancy was the highest in 2014, almost 79 years (for females 81.2 years and for males 76.4 years). Loma Linda, CA, has the highest rate of centenarians out of all places in USA. As a interesting note, Loma Linda has the highest concentration of Seventh-day Adventists; most of them are vegetarians and the ones who eat meat observe the Bible diet guideline (Leviticus 11). They do not use tobacco products, or drink alcohol and keep the Sabbath.

BBC recently wrote an article about that.
