Another view of dualism is one where one's faith is divided between "sacred" and "secular," i.e. my faith is concerned with the spiritual and doesn't apply to the rest of my life. For example, I may be a Christian and read my Bible and go to church, but it doesn't really effect the music I listen to, the movies I watch, the way I view sports, and other secular areas of life. This is opposed to a view where my faith should affect how I live in all areas of life.

Besides the above examples, it might include educating children, looking at politics, doing my work, and other decisions about how I live. It would ask questions in making a decision such as: What does the Bible say about this (directly or indirectly)? What would Jesus do? Is there a Christian perspective here that I should consider? It is easier said than done, but I believe Christ calls us to live for Him in all of life, not just those areas we call "spiritual."
