Deuteronomy 22:5 A woman shall not wear a man's garment, nor shall a man put on a woman's cloak, for whoever does these things is an abomination to the LORD your God.

The word courage has been tossed around in the media like a free gliding Frisbee when referring to the personal acts of Bruce Jenner last year. His decision to transition into a female, now called “Caitlyn” appears to be the talk of the Century. The majority of people out there view Bruce’s decision to become a man made woman as courageous to the point of presenting him with an ESPY Award. The minority of people (myself included) willing to pontificate Biblical insight on this matter are being labeled as judgmental rather than perceived as edified disciples of Christ willing to spread His Word with compassion and love.

Ephesians 4:25 Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to your neighbor, for we are all members of one body.

I find it quite disheartening that this world is so immensely defiled that blatant and willful sin has become the norm among the majority of folks. God meticulously teaches right from wrong in every aspect of living through His inspired Word; and it is our responsibility to pattern our lives after truth instead of being complacent in a constant state of falsehood and sin.

It is our duty as children of God to adhere to and share this prophesied truth of our Heavenly Creator. Many worldly events which are presently occurring have been preordained through scripture thousands of years ago; and all who fail to believe in the Gospel of Christ will be subjected to various plagues written therein.

Romans 1:24-32 Therefore God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, to the dishonoring of their bodies among themselves, because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen. For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature; and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error. And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a debased mind to do what ought not to be done.

Speaking the truth to help restore our brethren is not an act of self-righteous judgment, but rather it is a display of love for those who are blinded by the devil’s lies; possibly in jeopardy of losing their very souls to eternal damnation. As Christian speakers it is our duty to teach God’s truth to spiritually deprived people who are caught up in their sinful acts in hopes that they will repent and strive to live within the boundary of righteousness. If we ignore the free gift of the Holy Spirit that God blessed us with through the death and resurrection of His Son then we too will be guilty of living an unrepentant lifestyle.

Galatians 6:1 Brothers and sisters, if someone is caught in a sin, you who live by the Spirit should restore that person gently. But watch yourselves, or you also may be tempted.

James 5:19-20 My brothers and sisters, if one of you should wander from the truth and someone should bring that person back, 20 remember this: Whoever turns a sinner from the error of their way will save them from death and cover over a multitude of sins.

The LGBT Community once considered a taboo subject of controversy is now widely acceptable in today’s society and for that reason alone makes it extremely challenging to speak to or about people who identify as lesbian, bisexual, gay and/or transgender. However, I find it necessary as a Christian to elaborate not only on this subject matter, but also all other topics that are in direct opposition to the teachings of Jesus Christ. The Truth of the Gospel deserves to be heard, preached, taught and it is our duty to get it out there!

I have worked with a person who has physically had surgery to be changed from male to female so I have had much experience of their perspective and how they are treated by the world and also by Christian colleagues. Sadly in many cases they are found repulsive by churchgoing people and they are more accepted by the world.

It is difficult to love the sinner and despise the sin in so many cases and this is no different. They are the same as us in that they need a Saviour, and we need to pray for them and encourage them to Christian fellowship were they can hear about our Lord.

The 'human opinion on sin grading system' which unfortunately taints our race will no doubt measure this as something more serious than telling a few wee lies - but in the shadow of Gods judgment we are all guilty and come up short.

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

Pray them up, because but for the grace of God we all would be subject to eternal damnation and separation. What would Jesus do....?

I struggle with this subject because I have friends that are in a homosexual relationship living as husband and "wife". I have witnessed to them and am typically conflicted concerning my efforts. I feel judgment and exclusion are not within the description of my authority as a servant of God.

I realize the clarity of this issue causes the need for rebuke, but I am hesitant to do so for I know God hates the sin but loves the sinner. When Jesus forgave the woman found in the very act of adultery, He asked, "Where are your accusers?" and eventually reveals that He too is not accusing her. Should we not follow this example and not accuse those in question of their morality and simply forgive.

Perhaps the words that follow the forgiveness shall bring clarity. Yes Jesus did not accuse, but He advised her, in fact He commanded her, "Go, and sin no more." This lesson of his character shows His mercy and His desire to forgive over the ability to accuse. He makes it clear. First He eliminates accusation, then He forgives, then He commands. Perhaps we should do the same.

Homosexuality is becoming more and more common, just as divorce has become more common and the norm for our societal structures. We as Christians must cling to the ways God designed and abstain from the worldly practice of self destruction. However, when we present Christ, following His object lessons, we must not accuse, we must not judge, we must learn forgiveness and toleration of the sinner but then and only then, make clear the need to "sin no more".

Simply put, love the sinner and not the sin. Forgive as Christ forgave and then, and only then can we instruct the Word of God.

My understanding of this area comes from what researchers in Psychiatry at John Hopkins Uni have shown over many years. That is gender dysphoria is a mental condition that need psychiatric follow up and not surgical/hormonal intervention.
Hermaphrodites are a very rare group and I would expect that any reassignment surgery would be dictated to by genetic findings ie does the patient have an XX (female) or XY (male) chromosome.
Unfortunately in Australia gender fluidity is being pressured onto our young in some States. Because of this in one State there has been a 4-fold increase in young kids wanting gender reassignment via hormones and later surgical intervention.
Unfortunately Satan is alive and well in our educational institutions but we as Christians need to make stand through pray and protest against those in political power pushing these devilish programs.
