And was confirmed by this writing by the real dondi.com My husband told me that the term Dinosaur (terrible Lizard) wasn't even coined until the 1800's, And the biblical term for such huge animals was tannim. I believe that dinos were, contrary to popular belief, in the Bible. First off, as a Biblical Creationist, and not believing there was any death or suffering before Adam's fall, I see the fossil record very differently than the evolutionists do. I see a record of a terrible cataclysm--the Flood of Noah--not as a record of origins. Genesis says that all land animals were created on day 6, and last, He created Adam. So yes, I do believe Dinos came before man--a few hours before. I also believe that dinos co-existed with Man until recent times--and quite possibly still live in remote areas such as the Congo and Amazon jungles, and then of course there are the legends of the lake monsters. There is a great deal of stunning cultural evidence around the world for the existence of dinosaurs--from the legends of dragons (Probably stories of dinosaurs embellished over the years and mixed with other tales to form the chimeric winged, fire-breathing creature of myth)--to artwork depicting what are unmistakably dinosaurs. Many of these ancient drawings and carvings bear features only recently discovered about dinosaurs by the modern paleontological community....But does the Bible talk about dinosaurs? 
 
In so many words? No. That is because the word 'Dinosaur', meaning 'terrible lizard', was not coined until recent times. There were, however, other words for terrible reptiles in ancient times: they were called Dragons. The word in Hebrew is tannim, and it is used to describe "the great sea monsters" of Genesis 1, whales too, and also land creatures that fit the descriptions of dinosaurs. There is talk of "fiery flying serpents" in Exodus. These are probably creatures like pteranodons. Remember that 'serpent' was used to describe all reptilian creatures, therefore everything from common lizards and snakes to pteranodons to aquatic reptiles like Plesiosaur could have been called serpents. 

Then there are the ultimate, graphic descriptions we find in the Book of Job. In this book, Job is complaining to God for all the terrible things that have happened to him, and God is using the might of creation to illustrate His power, and two of his greatest creatures, Behemoth and Leviathan come up. Behemoth is found in Job 41--the entire chapter is devoted to describing this shocking beast--click the image to read about Behemoth in Job 40:15-24. 

Some Bible concordances will say that this creature is possibly a hippopotomus or an elephant. I have to laugh at this flatly denialistic assessment of this creature. Surely a hippo would rank mention of his teeth, or his unearthly gape! He does not strike me as chief of the ways of God, and his tail most certainly is not like a cedar! Same with an elephant--his trunk surely would beg mention in the description, there is nothing sinewy apparent in his navel or any other part of him. He might have been more aptly described 'baggy' yet mighty. But again, there is no way on Earth that you could legitimately compare his tail to a cedar tree. A twig, maybe. A tree? Absolutely not. It is a laughable suggestion. What does Behemoth represent? There is only one creature in history that fits this description--a sauropod dinosaur. 

Another thing to note is that God said "...which I made with thee". The thing that strikes me is that God Himself said Behemoth was made with Mankind. Not untold ages before, as He would have said if theistic evolutionists were right. Here the Creator takes an opportunity to bluntly state that this creature--by this incredibly precise description--was created and coexisted with Mankind even into Job

Recent discoveries of dinosaur leg bones containing measurable amounts of C14 and possibly blood and protein, add scientific weight to the creationist belief that dinosaurs lived in recent times, alongside humans. C14 (radioisotope of carbon) has a half-life of about 5,000 years - i.e. it loses half of its radioactive strength each 5000 years - so there shouldn't be any detectable C14 by 100,000 years. So dinosaurs cannot have become extinct 65 million years ago. This is an embarrassment to evolutionists and old-earth creationists and it is not widely advertised. 

I'm not saying that the earth could be 100,000 years old, but simply using the time-frame used by secular science when it comes to C14 dating. Incidentally, C14 has also been detected in coal and in diamonds - indicating that these too have a much more recent history than geology would have us believe!

The bottom line is that true science actually confirms what the Bible, God's inerrant Word, has been telling us all the time: that animals and humans were made at the same time, a few thousand years ago - dinosaurs included.

It is believed that these giant reptiles survived up until the 14th century in the forrests of Britain. In Carlise Cathedral etched on a brass surround of Bishop Bell's tomb are etchings of Brontasaurus which would almost perfectly fit the description of the Behemoth in Job.
