The Bible does not specifically answer this question. Will babies and children who die still be babies / children in Heaven? What about elderly people who die--do they remain elderly in heaven? Som...

An interesting but, I believe, a misleading question! The concept of "age" applies only in this life, with its linear, temporal progression from conception to death (should the Lord tarry) or rapture. Since heaven is eternal, "age" has no meaning. To be "like Him" is sufficient for me!

1 Cor 15:42-54 describes our resurrection bodies with emphasis in 1 Cor 15:49, 'And just as we have borne the image of the earthly man, so shall we bear the image of the heavenly man'. The passages don't give an exact age for our heavenly persons but as Michael wrote above, we would be at or near the age of Jesus since He is the only heavenly Man we know of in detail and if my Bible memory is right, John 3:13 is the passage confirming that. As I age and become unable to do things physically that were so easy I didn't even have to think about them then, I now sense and feel the pressure of aging and look ever more forward to the wonder of my heavenly body and my meeting with Christ Jesus. And for that, I'm sure we'll all be amazed at what our heavenly bodies will be capable of. After all, they are going to last for a very, very long time. Eternity is a concept we all have trouble conceiving since there is no, 'the end', so a very, very long time is the comparison that came to mind. Isaiah 46:10 says, 'I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come. I say, 'My purpose will stand, and I will do all that I please.', NIV. This is referring to mankind and the Earth explaining why Jesus is in control of everything, having been given all power, Ephesians 1:22-23, and in Matthew 28:18. Those verses aren't saying there is an end to eternity because that would mean an end to our triune God and that will never happen. Of course, we aren't to just sit around waiting to go to Heaven because there is still plenty to do here on Earth by listening to and learning from Jesus' Holy Spirit, our guide to imitating Jesus and sharing His Gospel, Matthew 28:18-20 and Luke 12:12. Also, Ephesians 2:10, 'For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.' NASB.

Scripture doesn't say, so we don't know. What we do know is that we are both physical and spiritual in our being, so when Christ returns He will restore us and provide for us perfect physical bodies. How old will these physical bodies look? We have no idea.

May I suggest that the same way God created Adam (and Eve) that he would recreate us in a similar fashion. They were perfect before Satan deceived them.

I personally believe that those who die in Christ will no longer be babies or old, for that was the beginning of the dying process in the fallen state of the old man.. We all will be given glorified bodies likened unto our Savior's as he will appear at his coming!

Does our soul and spirit have an age when we die and the body is here and soul and spirit in heaven? Does our resurrected body then join the unknown appearance of the soul and spirit?
Jesus received His glorified body upon His resurrection and ascended being known by the apostles as they knew Him.
I can quote no Scripture on this subject as I can't find any. The only thought I have is Adam died at 930 years {Genesis 5:5} does this maybe suggest Adam was 30 years old in appearance when God created him, if so then maybe 30 is as Jesus and Adam paralleling each other in earth age, Jesus being the second or last Adam. {1 Corinthians 15:45-48}
I would just like to let it be known, I shall praise God for eternity in whatever age or appearance my resurrected body assumes for His saving me and giving me eternal life. Hallelujah!

Four year old Colton Burpo nearly died on an operating table in 2010 but survives. A year later he tells his dad that he saw "Pops" (his grandfather) in heaven! His Dad gets a photo of Pops who was in his 60's when the photo was taken and asks him if this is Pops. Colton says no, so Dad gets a photo of Pops when he was about 30 and Colton immediately recognizes him! This is from the book "Heaven Is Real."
