A "man of God" is an authentically born-again Christian who lives according to the insights of the Holy Spirit. Christianity is in no wise a "religion."

There are examples we have in the bible giving reference to men of God. The prophet Elijah was referred to as the man of a God. As a human being there is no better example we have than Our Lord Jesus.

A man of God is one who lives by the principles of God. He has the character, personality and values of the kingdom of God. His words, thoughts and action replicate God in action.

He is a man that runs his race with diligence and patience, keeping his eyes focused on the author and the finisher of our faith. His total trust and sustenance is in the word of God. He mediates day and night on the word.

His aim is to accomplish God's will no matter what it costs. He is one who denies himself picks up his cross following Jesus. The words that will flow out of his lips" I can do all things through Christ who strengths me". Like the apostle Paul his confession will be" I live but yet not I but Christ liveth in Me.".
