Take the time to read Isaiah 52-54 from the Old Testement. You will see it is clearly the spoken word of the Lord our God reffering to the Salvation that was to come through Jesus Christ our savior, which was written hundreds of years before his birth. God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son..... We do not believe in a God of hate and revenge and control. We believe in The God of pure love who gives us free will to love him back; you can force people to be Muslim, but you can not force anyone to be Christian. To be Christlike is to love from the heart alone. God hears all, and what comes from our lips does not matter to him if it does not relate to what comes from our hearts. What good is it to recite scripture beginning to end if God is far from our hearts? Chrisitans may seem disengaged or unserious about our faith, not at all- we are easy-laden with the joy and peace that comes from being born again! The Holy Spirit; our Comforter, dwells within us and we feel it just as you feel the rain on your face. And it is yours to have as well.

The simplest of answers I could think of is this: "Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life. No one comes to the Father, except through Me". Allah IS NOT GOD! Jesus is God. Jesus is one with the Father. He is Everlasting to Everlasting. He is God as The Son, our eternal sacrifice that forgives our sins for all eternity, so that anyone who "calls upon the name of the Lord, shall be cleansed of all unrighteousness by the indwelling of the Holy Spirit and become saved." Simply, He is God! Jesus saves! And, only GOD can save his children! (Not some 'false imposter'!). "JESUS CHRIST IS THE SAVIOR OF THE WORLD!" "To love Him is to know Him!" --Andy--

If in fact you are of the Muslim faith you are more than half way to "becoming a Christian", seeing that you're consorting with believers of Christ on a Christian web site. Evidently you're considering it strongly, strong enough to ask why you should give your life to the only One who can preserve your life for whatever eternity turns out to be (John 14:6, Acts 4:12). There are some of us who are vigorous for you to "convert" to Christianity because each time we witness to someone and the person "accepts" Christ, our faith in "what we believe" is affirmed. This, in my opinion, is faulty faith. If no one ever believes my witness, my faith "in Christ", not my faith in "what I believe", won't shrink or grow. You should ask the Lord Jesus Christ to be your friend, savior, deliverer, etc. Because when He becomes all those things to you, you will begin to understand the life you live in a way that is not possible until you do. To know the Creator of life is a glory that you have to experience to understand.

Acts 26:28-29, states why anyone should consider being born again and becoming what is called a Christian, but is really a believer in who Jesus is. Paul was a believer of Judaism, and didn't believe Jesus was who he said he was, The Christ, Gods only begotten Son, until he meet Jesus firsthand. Acts 26 tells the rest of his testimony on why he became a Christian, like anyone who truly trusts in Jesus he had a personal relationship that developed between him and Jesus upon his trust or belief. I would ask you to truly pray to God for wisdom and a revelation as to who Jesus really is, and truly seek truth and Gods Word says He will reveal Himself to you.

Why you, a Muslim, should consider becoming a Christian: Islam is a religion and religion has done more harm than good in our society. Christianity is NOT a religion, it is the lifestyle of Christ. Religion is man's attempt to connect with God (sometimes through gods) while Christianity is God's attempt to connect with man through Christ. Religion teaches me to fear God with timidity, Christianity teaches me to fear God in love and obedience to His commands. Religion tells me to worship the Lord so that I can ward off evil, but Christianity tells me to worship the Lord because that's why I am created. Religion says I should put God's laws and commands in my head, Christianity says I should have God's Word engrafted in my heart and live by it. Religion tells me that salvation is the work of man, but Christianity makes me to realise that salvation is the work of God in man, given by grace.

If you don’t mind, I will slightly change your question. The question I will address is “Should a Muslim consider converting to Christianity?” The answer to that question depends on why you are a Muslim. If you are a Muslim because you have heard the promises of Muhammad and you believe he will deliver those promises to you after you die then maybe should remain a Muslim. Unless! Unless you are wrong in what you believe. Does Muhammad, as a prophet, have the power to raise you to life again and deliver those promises to you? I may be wrong but I have never heard that he had demonstrated that power or authority in his life. If he did not, then how could he do so in death? Only God and those He gives the power to has that power. If there is no evidence that Muhammad has shown that he had that power, we might ask, has anyone else shown and demonstrated that He has that power? The answer to that question would tell if there might be a better choice to deliver through on promises for what happens after death. We read in scriptures that Jesus actually did demonstrate that power. He raised Lazarus from the dead as well as a woman named Tabitha and a young girl who was the daughter of Jairus. He, Himself, was raised from the dead. Again, I don’t know, but did God, Himself, ever vocally praise Muhammad? I am not disparaging Muhammad, I honestly don’t know. But I do know that God said of Jesus “This is my son. With him I am well pleased!” It seems to me that if God were going to give His powers to someone, His Son would be the likely candidate. And what did Jesus say? He said “I am the Way, the Truth and The life! There is no other Way to the Father except through me!” I have heard that Muslims consider Jesus to be a prophet. If so, then He cannot lie and He therefore is the ONLY Way! As far as the promise of God, the lineage of Ishmael was promised to be a great nation and that, like all promises of God has certainly come to pass. However, the Bible tells us that THE promise of God would be through Isaac and not Ishmael. Jesus is from the lineage of Isaac. I therefore conclude that if anyone, Muslim or anyone else, wishes to partake in THE promise of God, Jesus should be the One to follow. The good news is that you, like me, can be, through adoption, a child of THE promise though we were not born so. THE promise of God is for eternal life through Jesus.
