In Genesis 2:18 "..God said, It is not good that man should be alone: I will make him an help meet for him." During Paul's walk on this earth, man was not alone. Paul is writing an idea of how influence and time consumption of a marriage will interfere with work in God's Kingdom. If a marriage can interrupt what we should be doing for God, how much more could the other things we fill our lives with take away from God. In Genesis 2:24, we see why we were created man and woman. "Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife; and they shall become one flesh." There are no exceptions written in this verse. This is how we were created. To take away from this is questioning how we were created. Now we are born into sin and no longer created. As a result, we cleave to be what we once were as we fight the influence of being born into sin. We were created to cleave unto a spouse of the opposite sex. Any type of sexuality apart from this is sin. Which, does not mean you are not attracted to the same sex or neither sex. It is just not what we were created to be. What we feel or want apart from what God's word says is sin. You have to look at who you are compared to who He is. We apart from Him are nothing, and our opinions do not influence HIM.

'Asexuality' as a secular social identity is not actually Biblical, but the phenomenon itself is addressed by Jesus thusly: “For there are eunuchs who were born that way from their mother’s womb; and there are eunuchs who were made eunuchs by men; and there are also eunuchs who made themselves eunuchs for the sake of the kingdom of heaven. He who is able to accept this, let him accept it.” (Matthew 19:12). This is actually a 'divine calling' and 'gift,' (Matthew 19:11). However, if we don't know GOD, we still need some way to interpret His gifts to us, which is why we have the secular social phenomenon of 'asexuality.' According to Christ in these verses, this 'gift' can be a result of birth traits, a personal psychological choice even involving intentional physical damage done to certain sex organs or their careful removal, (as was the case with eunuchs often placed in charge of ancient harems of young pubescent girls), or is a conscious decision made psychologically with no physical change in the 'normal' sex organs or drives. Jesus is very clear that in each case there will be people who find this completely intolerable and those who can accept it. He appears to endorse both viewpoints because the practice is supposed to be rare in society, but is also perfectly acceptable to Yahweh God and should be doctrinally accepted by Christians when it reflects healthy reverence and a divine calling.
