Dear Anonymous, in a sense the answer is yes! I believe, it is an indication that we have a lack of faith and trust in God's ability to provide for us. King Solomon is encouraging us to rest in the Lord, and not to lose sleep over the cares of this life. I believe this is the same message that Jesus was conveying to His disciples in Matthew 6:25-34. In short, we are not to worry about anything, because our heavenly Father will, and has already provided everything that we will ever need through His Son, Christ Jesus!

In Genesis 32:2 we read about "Mahanaim" - the 2 hosts. There are those that are visible, and those that aren't. You need "eyes to see." All our lives we have to make choices. Psalm16:7: "I will bless the LORD, who hath given me councel; my reins also instruct me in the night seasons." Concerning rein, I Jeremiah 33:20 the Lord addresses His rein, His covenant in the day and the night. It cannot be broken! Job 19:27: "Whom I shall see for myself, and my eyes shall behold, and not another; though my reins be consumed within me." (notice and not another) Psalm 17:8,9: "Keep me as the apple of the eye, hide me, under the shadow of thy wings, from the wicked that oppress me, from the deadly enemies who compass me about." Isaiah 43:2 "When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee...when thou walkest through the fire thou shalt not be burned." Isaiah 43:3: " For I am the LORD thy God..." In Genesis 18:1,2, the LORD appeared to Abraham, the friend of God. And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and he saw angels. And then he saw the Lord, and he bowed and said, "My Lord!" He saw not just three men (the angels), but he recognized the LORD! 2 Corinthians 7:10: "For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death." The word 'salvation" in Hebrew and Greek means deliverance. A believer has been saved from guilt and penalty. You are safe. Luke 7:50: "And He (Jesus) said to the woman, Thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace!" Luke 8:50: "Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole." Jesus had felt the woman touch the border of His garment. You obviously believe! If you did not, you would not be concerned! Therefore, look at verse 50, in the same chapter, again! Psalm 100:5: " For the LORD is good; His mercy is everlasting; and His truth entereth to all generations." Ephesians 3:17-20: May Christ dwell in your heart, and your faith give you roots to be strong. Know His love, be filled with His truth, trust Him! Stand firm. 2 Chronicles 20:17. The Lord is with you, fear not.
