What does the Bible say about God's power? (in verses like the following):

Jeremiah 32:17 "Oh, Lord God, you did indeed make heaven and earth by your mighty power and great strength. Nothing is too hard for you!"

Romans 1:20 "For since the creation of the world his invisible attritues--his eternal power and divine nature--have been clearly seen, because they are understood through what has been made. So people are without excuse."

1. God's power is displayed in creation (Jer. 32:17; Romans 1:20).
2. It is described as "mighty power" and "eternal power." (both verses).
3. Jeremiah's reference is a prayer that we could all start our prayers
of adoration with.
4. Paul's reference to God's eternal power being seen (experienced) by His powerful work in creatin displaying this invisible atttribute of God.
5. Jeremiah concludes that there is nothing God cannot do. That must mean that God is all-powerful (omnipotent).
