He just had to say what he thought! He was bursting! Jeremiah 20:9: "Then I said, I will not make mention of Him, nor speak anymore His name. "But His word was in my heart like a burning fire shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, and I could not." You cannot put new wine into an old wineskin! It will burst!

Dear Anonymous, Elihu used this idiom to express the pressure that was building up in him, because he needed to release the anger that he felt towards Job and his friends.
