How does one solve the problem that no one can earn their right standing with God (Gal. 3:10-14)?

Gal 3:10-14 American Standard Version: 10 "For as many as are of the works of the Law are under a curse: for it is written, 'Cursed is every one who continueth not in all things that are written in the book of the Law, to do them.'11 Now that the Law justifies no man before God, is evident: for, the righteous shall live by faith; 12 and the Law is not of faith; but, He that doeth them shall live in them.13 Christ redeemed us from the curse of the Law, having become a curse for us; for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: 14 that upon the Gentiles might come the blessing of Abraham in Christ Jesus; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith."

According to Galatians 3:10-14, the problem that no one can earn a right standing with God through the Law is solved solely through faith in Jesus Christ. This is because adherence to the Law requires perfect, continuous obedience in all things, which is impossible for any human to achieve.

The solution is to cease from self-effort to earn God's favour and to accept the gift of salvation by placing all trust in what Christ has already accomplished through his perfect life and sacrificial death.

Note how the apostle Paul argues: "Is the law then against the promises of God? God forbid: for if there had been a law given which could make alive, verily righteousness would have been of the law." (Ga 3:21 ESV Bible) Now, the Jews, being condemned by the Law, were not only shown to be sinners as offspring of Adam but were also under an additional disability. For this reason, Christ died on a torture stake, as Paul says: "Christ by purchase released us from the curse of the Law by becoming a curse instead of us, because it is written: 'Christ redeemed us from the curse of the Law, having become a curse for us; for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree.'" (Ga 3:13 ASV Bible) By removing this obstacle, namely, the curse brought on the Jews by their breaking of the Law, Jesus Christ removed this barrier to life for the Jews, giving them the opportunity for life. His ransom could thus benefit them and others.

Conclusion:

1: The solution provided in the New Testament is justification by faith, a principle established in the Old Testament through figures like Abraham (who "believed God, and it was counted to him as righteousness") and the prophet Habakkuk ("The righteous shall live by faith").

2: Through this sacrifice, God offers a right standing with Him as a gift, received by grace through faith, not earned by human effort.

3: Believers in Christ receive the promised Holy Spirit, which is the "blessing of Abraham" that was intended for all nations. The Spirit then empowers believers to live a transformed life, not by self-effort to earn salvation, but out of gratitude and love.

4: The way to solve the problem of not being able to earn right standing with God is to cease relying on one's own performance and to place complete trust in the finished work of Jesus Christ when he gave his life for humanity.

That is because it is all about God's Grace. When you truly, honestly believe God, He is gracious.

There isn't anything you can buy; there is not one bit of work to be done.

Jesus, our Lord and Savior has done it all! When you believe that you are in right standing with God.

It's so easy! Yet people refuse to accept it!
