A few ideas:

1. Respiration (as in "the breath of life")
2. Wind (as God's "breath" in a metaphorical sense)
3. An attribute that separates living organisms from inanimate objects (such as idols).
4. The instrument of God's judgment (as in, "with His breath, shall He slay the wicked")
5. A metaphorical fire that consumes the wicked (Isaiah 33:11)
6. God's instrument of creation (Psalm 33:6)
