I went to a gentleman's club out of curiosity but left as soon as they explained it to me. Did I commit a sin of lust?

I guess you misunderstood “gentleman’s club”.

What or how were you lured in to such a place can be explained in Scripture - which says in James 1:14-16 14: But each one is tempted when he is carried away and enticed by his own lust. 15 Then when lust has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it has run its course, brings forth death. 16 Do not be deceived, my beloved brothers and sisters.

It seems to me that you ran out of there before Satan could have inflicted severe damage. I don’t know how old you are, your culture, or what were you thinking at that moment?

One thing I know for sure. Satan is always scheming the destruction of all believers and I’m glad that as James 5:16 says:

Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.

I’m almost sure: that you have asked The Lord for forgiveness and if you have, please fully accept His forgiveness and don’t allow the enemy to engulf you in shame and guilt.

Next time discern biblically. What you called curiosity in this specific instant the scripture calls lust. I highly recommend for men the Book of Proverbs as it shields us and protect us from lust and its destructiveness.

Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life. (Proverbs 4:23)

I would say that only the questioner can speak as to what he saw with his eyes, or what he felt in his heart. If the questioner believes that the circumstances of the club caused him to look at one or more women with purely lustful intent, then he should confess that to God and seek His forgiveness. On the other hand, if (as the questioner seems to imply) he acted only on an explanation of the club's procedures, upon which he sought to remove himself from that setting, lust would not enter into consideration. However, in either case, I would say that the individual would not have committed a sin that is outside the realm of God's mercy.

(The questioner's experience can also serve as a cautionary tale to be fully informed about an environment or location before exposing oneself to it, or considering such exposure.)
