The Bible, as God's Word, contains many testimonies to His multi-faceted perfection. To me, the most fundamental aspect of God's perfection is His holiness (the complete absence of sin, which only He can claim), as found in passages such as Isaiah 6:3 and Leviticus 19:2. This characteristic of a holy nature is then manifested in the Bible through God's words and His actions, as well as the words of those who speak on His behalf (which is the root meaning of the word "prophet"). These highlight such attributes as: Love (1 John 4:8), which leads to: Faithfulness through fulfilled prophecy, the keeping of His covenant with Abraham, the protection of Israel, and the promise of salvation through Jesus, while also maintaining: Justice (through the sacrifice of Jesus to satisfy His judgment against sin). Truth (not just as an abstract principle, but as an embodied attribute, which Jesus indicated when he referred to Himself as THE truth (John 14:6), and also testified to His Father's word as truth (John 17:17); and Immutability (Psalm 103:27; Malachi 3:6; Hebrews 13:8).
