The event referenced in the question (recounted in in Luke 7:11-17) was not the only recorded occasion on which Jesus raised someone from the dead. However, in my opinion, the factors that make the raising of the widow's son distinctive are that it was in immediate response to a personal situation (in that the death of the widow's son -- aside from the intense grief that it caused the widow -- also left her without any means of material support), and also that the resurrection was as a result of a "chance" encounter (rather than a case where Jesus was sought out), which demonstrates God's knowledge of, active involvement in, and concern for even seemingly "random" events that affect His people.
