NKJV - 11 But Jehoshaphat said, " Is there no prophet of the LORD here, that we may inquire of the LORD by him?" So one of the servants of the king of Israel answered and said, "Elisha the son of Shaphat is here, who poured water on the hands of Elijah.

Since Elisha was mentioned as plowing by himself (which involved handling twelve yoke of oxen! (1 Kings 19)), and requested only permission to say farewell to his mother and father before going with Elijah, that would lead me to surmise that Elisha had no brothers or sisters.

I think so. 1 Kings 19:16: "Also you shall anoint Jehu the son of Nimshi as king over Israel. And Elisha the son of Shaphat of Abel Meholah you shall anoint as prophet in your place."

This was revealed to Elijah by God. Elijah departed from the mountain and found the son of Shaphat, Elisha, who was plowing the field with twelve yoke of oxen before him.
