God is never happy when an evil person dies, it is a loss and it should also be a loss to us as Christians because it could mean we as Christians have failed in our duty to influence these people to bring them to God. However after their death (the evil people), we can do nothing to help them because God designed it that all has to be put right from here, and that is the very reason Jesus the CHRIST had to manifest in the flesh. Once some one dies, there is no any more hope of saving them, John 3:18, Luke 16:19-30.

In view of the above, as a Christian, I am indeed grieved when an evil person dies because when Jesus came on the earth and died and rose again on the third day, His mission was to save us from such. No body is born evil, people are simply used by demons, so when an evil person dies, it is simply the devil who gains, and that is never God's mission.

In Luke 15, Jesus tells us how the heavens rejoice when one soul repents, it means God's only mission is to save not to destroy.

However, God left us the power to decide on what to go with, so as a Christian, I should condemn myself further if I have not presented to that person the choice of salvation, and all that is in their mind is the evil. If you let them know about the loving and saving nature of Jesus Christ, the choice is therefore theirs and we then have nothing much to blame ourselves for.

So as a Christian, my reaction to the death of an evil person say like Osama Bin Laden, Stalin, Hitler, etc should be based on whether those people have had an opportunity of being presented with the gospel of salvation of Jesus Christ, and they decided by themselves in their own power to remain and die as "evil", though I am grieved as a Christian at their death and I know what their destination is, I can't really at this stage help anything, but will not also go on to rejoice over their death, because by doing such, I will have joined the devil, that is his ultimate goal, to take as many as he can with him to hell.

When an evil person dies, it is a removal of wickedness and bitterness around us. God advised that Christians must be separated from evil and anythings associated with wickedness is wrong. The death of an evil person should create no worries for the Christian around them but the concern of the damage he must have done while living. Ephesians 5:11-12, Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them. It is shameful even to mention what the disobedient do in secret.

Evil is a specific danger in a believer's life, and sometimes classified as vices in Christendom. Vice is a practice, behaviour, and habit considered as immoral. Vices are sinful habits and acts belonging to unbelievers. 

When such influence is allowed to exist within the society, it becomes challenging for every other person within that system, unless it can be controlled and adequately managed for the protection of every other sincere person and individuals. John 7:24, Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.

Christians are generally advised not to partake in the outcome of evil, and also not to fellowship with unbelievers, since their mind is occupied with evil, and the thought of their heart is wickedness. Galatians 6:1, Brothers, if anyone is caught in any transgression, you who are spiritual should restore him in a spirit of gentleness. Keep watch on yourself, lest you too be tempted.
