How can I always be happy and cheerful, and at the same time think of death as a wise person according to Ecclesiastes 9:7 and Ecc. 7:4?

NKJV - 4 The heart of the wise is in the house of mourning, But the heart of fools is in the house of mirth. 5 It is better to hear the rebuke of the wise Than for a man to hear the song of fools.

Solomon was indeed wise, but his self-proclaimed scope in Ecclesiastes was observing and writing of things "under the sun" -- that is, from the perspective of the "natural" man without divine wisdom or insight. From that point of view, death appeared to be the end of existence, with no prospect of eternal life. Now that believers in Christ have the assurance of eternal life in God's presence through faith in Him (regardless of what may happen upon this earth), those believers can (and should) face even the most difficult circumstances -- including physical death -- with calm assurance and even joy (Philippians 1:21-24).
