Hmm... this is a tough question, because it can have 2 answers. If it is being done solely on a Religious Belief Basis and you are being told you NEED to practice this 'belief' or that 'belief' that is contrary to the BIBLE...>>>> Be careful - be very careful. But, on the science / medical part. There is science to back it up. I know many Christian Doctors - who refer patients to Acupuncture - Reflexology - Chiropractors - Massage Therapy and such for relief, to avoid when/if possible drug related answers right off the bat. I know a lot of Christians who have found great relief from all the a fore mentioned practices. But these practitioners do not 'preach a religion' of "Chi" or such... just the basic science that your nervous system is fearfully and wonderfully made. I personally put a Reflexology Practitioner to the 'test' if you will. I have had a long history of "medical challenges" over my 60 years of living. This specific person is a Christian and while using their Reflexology Knowledge to work, they also are praying for the person(s) as well. :) They were able to tell me amazingly specific, with NO clues - hints or other wise... (Read: No medical History forms were filled out.) They knew (could feel) in what was specific areas of the body on my foot, the differences in specific areas of surgery that I have had. Again, bottom line: If you are going and they are 'preaching a religion to you' - then I would avoid that practitioner. But if they are simply practicing their 'art' be it reflexology, acupuncture, chiropractor, massage therapy, touch therapy and such. IF it indeed helps, go for it!
