Joseph on His death bed, in Egypt, said, "God will surely visit you, and you shall carry my bones from here."

Moses took Joseph's bones from Egypt into the wilderness.

Hebrews 11:22: "By faith Joseph when he was dying; made mention of the departure of the children of Israel, and gave instructions concerning His bones."

Exodus 13:19 completes the journey of Joseph's faith in the Living God. This is proof that Joseph was a great man of faith.

Joseph had absolute trust in God. He knew that God would keep His promise to give the land of Canaan to the Israelite people. He wanted to be in this land too.

Hundreds of years after the promise, Moses would keep the oath made in Genesis 50:25 by the children of Israel.

A promise is a promise. God always keeps His promises.
