How long is the little season referred to in Rev. 3:20, when satan is released for a little while?

Revelation 20:3

ESV - 3 And threw him into the pit, and shut it and sealed it over him, so that he might not deceive the nations any longer, until the thousand years were ended. After that he must be released for a little while.

Ecclesiastes 1:4: "One generation passes away, and another generation comes; but the earth abides forever." As humans we are bound by time.

Revelation 1:18: "’I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End,' says the Lord, 'Who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.'" God is not bound by time or space.

Revelation 12:12: "Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and you who dwell in them! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time." Soon Satan will be bound in the bottomless pit for a thousand years.

John 16:17,18: "Then some of His disciples said among themselves, 'What is this that He says to us, “A little while, and you will not see Me; and again a little while, and you will see Me.” and, “because I go to the Father”?’ They said therefore, 'What is this that He says, “A little while'”? We do not know what He is saying.'” Jesus was telling them that it would not be long.

2 Peter 3:8: "But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. (3:9) The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance." God's timing is always perfect.

Psalm 39:5: "Indeed, You have made my days as handbreaths, and my age is as nothing before You; certainly every man at his best state is but vapor."

Vapor is something that passes very quickly. I believe that the "little season", mentioned in Revelation 20:3 will be a very short time.

I think that Satan/Lucifer will have a small chance to turn to God. I cannot prove this. But I believe the Bible says Lucifer was the most beautiful angel created. (See Ezekiel 28:12-19)

God does not want to lose anything He created.
