When John speaks of Jesus' relationship to the world (John 1:3-5), he says that He is the sole creator (John 1:3): Nothing exists that he didn't make. HW

God created the worlds through His word: “And God said, ‘Let there be …’ For he spake, and it was done; he commanded, and it stood fast” (Ps. 33:9).

The verb was made is perfect tense in the Greek, which means a “completed act.” Creation is finished. It is not a process still going on, even though God is certainly at work in His creation (John 5:17 and compare 2 Corinthians 5:17).!
