What happens in the end, referred to in these verses: “And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all”?

1 Corinthians 15:24 - 28

ESV - 24 Then comes the end, when he delivers the kingdom to God the Father after destroying every rule and every authority and power. 25 For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet.

I would express it by saying that Jesus was incarnated by the will of God the Father specifically for performing the actions and carrying out the purposes that the Father intended, just as Jesus (in His glorified state) will also be doing in the events of the end times.

Although Jesus (as God the Son) has always been co-equal and co-eternal with God the Father, He will not be acting in those end-times events on His own authority, but will be performing the will of God the Father, as He also did during His earthly life.

By subjecting Himself to God the Father following the completion or fulfillment of those actions, Jesus will be showing that the purposes and plans of God are a unified whole (just as God Himself is one Being in three Persons), and that Jesus is not to be (and did not intend to be) glorified or honored apart from His Father, or somehow considered a separate object of worship, but that everything that He has ever done was for the purpose of serving and carrying out the will of God the Father.
