As best I can determine, the "great snatch" is a term referring to what is more commonly called the Rapture. The use of the term is most specifically associated with a deceased engineer and Christian teacher named Chuck Missler, who was born in Illinois in 1934, and who died in 2018 in New Zealand. The term derives from the description of the Rapture as an end-times event when living believers will be caught up (or "snatched up") from the earth to meet the glorified Christ in the air, as described by Paul in 1 Thessalonians 4:13-17.
