Who's the "us" in the following vs: On the last day of creation, God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness," (Genesis 1:26)?

God, while declared as one Being (Deuteronomy 6:4; Mark 12:29) exists in three Persons (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit). (For example, as indicated in Matthew 3:16-17 and Luke 2:22, when Jesus (God the Son) was baptized, God the Holy Spirit appeared in the form of a dove, and God the Father spoke from heaven.) The cited verse from Genesis is another indication of this nature, in which these Persons use the plural as they speak among themselves. I have found C. S. Lewis' discussion of this nature (in Book IV within his short work Mere Christianity, which is fully viewable at multiple locations on the web) to be helpful in understanding it.

Genesis 1:1,2 - "In the beginning God created heaven and earth. And the earth was without form, void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters." John 1:1,2,3 - " In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. A things were made by Him; and without Him was not any thing made that was made." Colossians 1, We give thanks to God, because He delivered us from darkness with the redemptive power of Jesus blood. Jesus is the image of the invisible God. The firstborn of every creature. All things were created by Him. Everything visible and invisible came into being by Jesus spoken words. Elohim in Genesis 1:1, sometimes called El, or Elah, is the English word for God. It is a uni-plural name for Dirty. El = strength or strong one. Alah, means to swear or bind by an oath. Faithfulness. Thus the trinity is latent in Elohim. Notice in verse 2 of Genisis 1, the Spirit moved upon the face of the waters. Job 26:13, "By his Spirit He hath garnished the heavens; His hand hath formed the crooked serpent." Psalm 104:30, "Thou sendest forth Thy Spirit..." Malachi 2:15, we are given a summary of the Holy Spirit. The "us" refers to God the Father, Jesus the Son (Word) and the Holy Spirit. The Trinity.
