David was married to Ahinoam, Abigail, Maacha, Haggith, Abital, and Eglah during the 7-1/2 years he reigned in Hebron as king of Judah. After David moved his capital to Jerusalem, he married Bathsheba. Each of his first 6 wives bore David a son, while Bathsheba bore him 4 sons. Another online source says: Then David took more wives at Jerusalem, and David became the father of more sons and daughters.
