Psalm 111:10, "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.."

Psalm 112:1, "Praise the Lord! Blessed is the man who fears the Lord, who delights greatly in His commandments."

Genesis 26:24..."Do not fear, for I am with you..."

Deuteronomy 31:8, "And the Lord, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you, do not fear nor be dismayed"

Psalm 23:4, " Yea. Though I walk through the valley of the Shadow of death, I will fear no evil for You are with Me; your rod and staff comfort me."

Isaiah 35:4, "Say to those who are fearful-hearted, 'Be strong, do not fear!'"

Daniel 10:19, "And he said,'O man greatly beloved, fear not!'..."

Luke 1:74, "To grant us that, we being delivered from the hand of our enemies, might serve Him without fear."

2 Timothy 1:7, "For God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind."

1Peter 2:17, "Honor all people. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the king."

Proverbs 19:23, "The fear of the Lord leads to life, and he who has it will abide in satisfaction; He will not be visited with evil."

Acts 9:31, "...And walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, they (churches) were multiplied."

There are many, many more verses about fear in the Bible. There are various fears: Fear, fear of the Lord, fear the Lord, feared, fearful, fearfulness, fears, fearing, fearfully, do not fear etc...etc...I only skipped through.

God does not want us to fear, be afraid of Him. He does want us to be in awe, respect Him. That is also considered fear.

There are many places in scripture that instruct us to “fear not”. This is one of my favorites:

"But now, thus says Adonai—the One who created you, O Jacob, the One who formed you, O Israel: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you, I have called you by name, you are Mine."  Isa 43:1

Great question, Catherine Gichuki! Jesus said in sending out The Twelve in Matthew 10:29, "What is the price of two sparrows — one copper coin? But not a single sparrow can fall to the ground without your Father knowing it."

30 "And the very hairs on your head are all numbered."

31 "So don’t be afraid; you are more valuable to God than a whole flock of sparrows." Why not add a great verse like this to a superb Bible memory aid like my favorite https://www.memverse.com/?

Why would we need to fear when we have such a God like this:

Through the love of God our Savior,
All will be well;
Free and changeless is His favor;
All, all is well.
Precious is the blood that healed us; 
(Colossians 1:20) “and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.”

Perfect is the grace that sealed us;
Strong the hand stretched out to shield us;
All must be well.

I am getting older; I’m 75. But do I worry about death? Even though I have had a severe heart attack, stents and a pace maker put in, I trust in God's promise to the believer in Isaiah 46:4 --

"Even to your old age and gray hairs, 
I am He. 
I am He who will sustain. 
I have made you and I will carry you.
I will sustain you and I will rescue you." (Isaiah 46:4 NIV)

I take comfort in God’s faithfulness (Isaiah 46:3-4; 48:16-17) in caring for his own, which is brought out in Isaiah 46:3-4). He created us and has cared for us throughout our lives. Why fear?
