Simply stated, the sword Is The very Word of God! Jesus is our "sword" that we have at our ready and willing use as the defense against Satan's wiles, lies and deceitful intentions! "Satan comes as an angel of light to deceive many in his efforts to steal, kill and destroy the souls of as many as he can. The very Word of God is our "Sword", which means that God's Word is the weapon that Satan has no answer for! He is defenseless with no answer when confronted. Jesus, while in the wilderness exemplified how to put our 'sword' into action for our defense. Jesus told Satan "Get behind me Satan, for thou shalt not tempt The Lord thy God, for man shall not live by bread alone, but by the very word that proceeds from the mouth of God which is of my Father who is in Heaven". The devil tried to tempt Jesus to "turn these rocks into bread to eat for Jesus was hungry." But, Jesus quickly rebuked him!

God's Holy Word--our Bible--truly is "sharper than any two edged sword"!

The Holy Word of God truly is "a lamp unto my feet and a delight unto my soul"!

"Trust IN THE LORD IN ALL YOUR WAYS AND Acknowledge Him and HE WILL GUIDE YOU INTO ALL TRUTH AND HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS that exceeds(surpasses) all understanding"!

"Praise God that He provided a Savior! And, His name is Jesus Christ"!
AMEN!
