What does it mean that Job was, “blameless and upright”?
Job 1:1 - 22
NKJV - 1 There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was blameless and upright, and one who feared God and shunned evil. 2 And seven sons and three daughters were born to him.

Since the original fall of humanity into sin described in Genesis 3, no human has ever been totally without sin (except Jesus, due to the manner in which He was conceived, as described in Matthew 1 and Luke 1). In calling Job "blameless and upright", the Bible is not saying or claiming that Job was without sin, but that, among humans, he was exceptionally pious and devoted to God, as indicated by his actions described in Job 1:1-5, as well as by his responses in Job 1:20-22 and Job 2:7-11 to the trials that God allowed Satan to send upon him.
