I have never had personal experience with the ministry referenced in the question, but my understanding from multiple second-hand sources is that it is associated with the United Church of God, which, in turn, was an offshoot of the Worldwide Church of God that was founded by the late Herbert W. Armstrong. (Both of those bodies have been previously discussed in unfavorable terms on the ebible.com website.)

The UCG was formed by men named Bob Dick and David Hulme in 1995 in Arcadia, California, with current headquarters in Milford, Ohio. Beyond Today is the UCG's television ministry.

According to reputable sources (such as Christian Apologetics and Research Ministry (CARM.org)), the group holds multiple theological positions that conflict with both the Bible and mainstream Christianity, including:

-- denial of the Trinity;
-- denial of the full deity of Christ;
-- reliance upon keeping of the Old Testament Law for salvation;
-- receipt of the Holy Spirit (who is viewed only as a "force", rather than a Being who is fully God) only through a laying on of hands by a church member;
-- abstention from foods that the group considers "unclean";
-- required observance of the seventh-day (Saturday) Sabbath, as well as seven festivals described in the Old Testament;
-- annihilationism (destruction of the wicked, rather than their eternal punishment);
-- requirement of baptism by full immersion as a necessary condition of salvation; and
-- an offer of salvation at the time of the Great White Throne judgment to adherents of non-Christian religions who never heard the gospel message while on earth.
