There is no doubt that every reference to angels in Scripture is in the masculine gender. The Greek word for "angel" in the New Testament, angelos, is in the masculine form. In fact, a feminine for...

Four Angels Named in Scripture:
1. Lucifer (Isa. 14: 12; Ezek. 28: 11- 17)
2. Michael (Dan. 10: 13, 21; 12: 1; Jude 1: 9; Rev. 12: 7)
3. Gabriel (Dan. 8: 16; 9: 21; Lk. 1: 19, 26)
4. Abaddon or Apollyon (Rev. 9: 11)

Throughout Scripture angels are spoken of as men. No female angels are on record. It is logical to say then that the female was created specifically to keep the human race in existence; and that all angels were created males, inasmuch as their kind exists without reproduction. Angels were created innumerable to start with (Heb. 12:22), whereas humanity began with one pair, Adam and Eve, who were commanded to reproduce and make multitudes. That angels have tangible spirit bodies, appear as men, and perform acts surpassing those of the human male is clear from many passages. See Heb. 13:2.

Eight Facts about Angels:
1. The reality of personal angels (Job 1: 6; 2: 1; 4: 18; 38: 4- 7)
2. They regularly worship God (Job 1: 6; 2: 1)
3. Two classes of angels-- good and bad (Job 1: 16- 19; 2: 1- 8; 4: 18)
4. Some had a fall, like man (Job 4: 18)
5. They were created before man and the earth (Job 38: 4- 7)
6. They are called sons of God (Job 1: 6; 2: 1; 38: 4- 7)
7. They reside in heaven (Job 1: 6; 2: 1)
8. They are inferior to God (Job 1: 6; 2: 1; 38: 4- 7)

Michael and his angels fought against the dragon and his angels (Dan. 10:13, 21; 12:1; Jude 1:9). Angels fight by physical contact in the same way that people do. They are capable of operation in the material and earthly realm. After all, heaven and other planets are of material substance like the earth. Angels have done and can do all things that men can do, plus some things people cannot do before becoming resurrected, immortalized, and being given glorified bodies like Christ who can appear and disappear, going through material substance (note, Jn. 21:14). Angels are capable of being captured and confined by chains and prisons like people (Dan. 10:13- 21 2Pet. 2:4; Jude 1:6- 7 Rev. 9:11, 14; 20:1- 10). Here one army of angels is going to defeat and cast down another army of angels to the earth and confine them there (Rev. 12:7- 12). All fallen ones will be confined to hell forever (Mt. 24:41 Rev. 20:10).

Malakh in Arabic is Maalaakho in Syriac which means an angel. In the vision of Zachariah in Zech.5: 5-11 the person talking to Zacharia is a malak / maalaakho / angel. The lady in the box is personification of wickedness and the two winged women are disguised demons of Satan taking wickedness to be installed in the temple of Satan to be worshiped by those who do not accept Jesus Christ as Savior.

Angels have no gender. They are spirit beings. In Mathew gospels, question has been raised concerning marriage, this is what Jesus said in Mathew: 22:30
“For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.”
if we are going to be like angels there is no Gender. Even God is neither male nor female,he has no gender.

A born again brother of mine was singing a hymn in church a number of years ago when all of a sudden he found he was being carried by six angels up a hill that had a beautiful walled city on the top. The walls were very high and multicolored, but he didn't see an entrance gate. Then the angel at his right touched the wall and gates appeared. At that point he woke up in an ambulance with an EMT standing over him saying, "We've got him back."

I asked him what the angels looked like. He said they were all dressed in white robes and three of them were very handsome, very muscular and had rather long hair. The other three angels were slightly smaller, slightly less muscular and were exceptionally beautiful and had longer hair than the other angels. I asked him if they were females. He said they appeared to be very feminine yet very powerful, so me, being a male, asked if they had breasts. He said no, but he did think they were "females" because of their striking beauty and apparent femininity. Obviously breasts would not be needed in heaven (and it was a dumb question).

The angels are male. 1/3 of the angels were cast down to earth. They saw that the women of earth were desirable. Their offspring were the nephelium.

The angels with Lot were male and the men outside Lot's door desired them. The Book of Enoch names many of them and what they are responsible for.

This is just the way I see it-----Angels have always been referred as being male in the Bible. They were always with God praising Him and doing for Him. God created the earth, then man and woman. God sent His Son to walk this earth in human man form to experience human life and save us from the sins of this world. Jesus told us His Father's house has many mansions and He will prepare us one. We will live in heaven as men and women spirits, not angels.

That is my opinion after reading and studying the Bible for many years. I am just a humble follower of God.
