What is the fruit of the Holy Spirit? Joh 15:8 Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples. Notice: John 15:16: You have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that you should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever you shall ask of the Father in my name, He may give it you. We are all chosen to bear fruit unto our God and our Father and in doing so will be loving Him and our neighbors as ourselves. Romans 7:4 Wherefore, my brethren, you also are become dead to the law by the body of the anointed one; that you should be married to another, even to him [Jesus] who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God. Galatians 5:22: But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Ephesians 5:9 (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;) When we are guided by the spirit of the living God and by the spirit of His son we will bring forth the fruit of the spirit and as we do it will bring glory to our God and Father and to His beloved son Jesus the anointed one. James 3:18 And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace. How do we produce this fruit of the spirit? We produce the fruit of the spirit by being in the anointed one Jesus, because the fruit of the spirit is what he produces in us and through us outwardly to those who we come in contact with. Jesus said: John 15:4-5: Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can you, except you abide in me. I am the vine, you are the branches: He that abides in me, and I in him, the same brings forth much fruit: for without me you can do nothing. In Jesus the anointed one I can do all that is pleasing to his God and my God his Father and my Father. Outside of him I can do nothing that is pleasing to his God and my God his Father and my Father! Let us draw close to the one with whom we have to do and glory in His presence! WHAT ARE THE FRUITS OF THE SPIRIT “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.”(Galatians 5:22-23) Paul used “fruit” to help us understand the product of the Holy Spirit, who lives inside every believer. The fruit of the Spirit is produced by the Spirit, not by the Christian.. The Holy Spirit gives us the power we need to reject those old sinful desires. We can say “no” to sin and accept the “way out” God faithfully provides (1 Corinthians 10:13) by following the Holy Spirit’s leading. As we give the Spirit more control of our lives, He begins to do in and through us what only He can do - to shape us and grow us to look like Jesus (2 Corinthians 3:17-18). Since God’s goal for all His children is for us to be like Jesus (Romans 8:29), the Holy Spirit constantly works to rid our lives of the “acts of the sinful nature” (Gal 5:19) and display His fruit instead. Therefore, the presence of the “fruit of the Spirit” is evidence that our character is becoming more like Christ’s. The fruit of the Spirit is a biblical term that sums up the nine attributes of a person or community living in accord with the Holy Spirit (Gal. 5). The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Love: - Biblical love is a choice, not a feeling. It expresses itself in loving ways and always sees the welfare of others. For example rather than risking the possibility of causing an immature Christian to question or stumble the mature believer will not exercise his freedom out of love (Romans 14:1-5). Love chooses to set aside one’s own desires, preferences and sometimes needs to put the other person first (Philippians 2:1-3). JOY is the gladness and delight based on our circumstances. As we walk our Christian pathway, we will experience the fullness of joy Yeshua promised (John 15:4-11). PEACE The world does not offer peace because the world cannot give peace as the world does not know the One who is peace. Those of us who have the peace of Messiah no matter the circumstances can reject chaos of the world and embrace God’s peace and the book of Philippians tells us how-------choose to rejoice in God and who He is; bring all your worries, fears and concerns to God in prayer; fill your mind in God’s truth and choose to think about the things of God (Philippians 4:4-9). PATIENCE Christians have everything we need to patient because we have the Holy Spirit in us longing to display His character to those around us. However, we do not see much patience in the world or church because of the fast paced and want-it-now culture we live in. Patient people display endurance, longsuffering and perseverance and put up with circumstances and other people even when tired, upset or ill. KINDNESS AND GOODNESS Together they present a picture of one who not only possess moral goodness and integrity, but also expresses it in the way they act towards others. God expresses His kindness and goodness towards us (Titus 3:4) and will continue to do so for all eternity (Eph.2:7). FAITHFULNESS means to be reliable or to be trustworthy. The Christian faithfulness is the continued and consistent submission and obedience to the Holy Spirit who provides the ability for us to be faithful. GENTLENESS AND MEEKNESS is the grace of the soul. Gentleness is the opposite of self-assertiveness and self-interest is a key ingredient in unity and peace within the body of Christ (Eph. 4:2). SELF-CONTROL refers to the strength to control our sinful desires to say "NO" and gives us the power to say "YES" to the Spirit and foster a bountiful harvest of spiritual fruit.

Jesus is saying: "The Spirit gives life, the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you are Spirit and they are life " (John 6: 63). Since we are the believers and followers of Jesus Christ who have been born again (John 3: 1-21) our lives are the gift of the Holy Spirit which bear the fruits of the Holy Spirit: our personal identity, the roles we play in the family, society, and in our country on this planet earth and in Heaven as well. As a conlusion: the fruits of the Holy Spirit is SALVATION on earth and in Heaven to those who are the believers and followers of Jesus Christ.
