I would say that the plagues being referred to are primarily those that are described in Revelation 8-9, as well as in Revelation 16, although there are also references to adverse events such as conquest, war, famine, and death in Revelation 6.

I would agree with Mr. Maas' Revelation 9 and 16 references.
Revelation 9: 17 And thus I saw the horses in the vision: those who sat on them had breastplates of fiery red, hyacinth blue, and sulfur yellow; and the heads of the horses were like the heads of lions; and out of their mouths came fire, smoke, and brimstone. 18 By these 3 PLAGUES, a third of mankind was killed—by the fire and the smoke and the brimstone which came out of their mouths. 19 For their power is in their mouth and in their tails; for their tails are like serpents, having heads; and with them they do harm.
20 But the rest of mankind, who were not killed by THESE PLAGUES, did not repent of the works of their hands, that they should not worship demons, and idols of gold, silver, brass, stone, and wood, which can neither see nor hear nor walk.

Fourth Bowl: Men Are Scorched
Revelation 16:8 Then the fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and power was given to him to scorch men with fire. 9 And men were scorched with great heat, and they blasphemed the name of God who has power over these PLAGUES, and they did not repent and give Him glory. {and I take it not only the scorching PLAGUE but also the preceding in Revelation 16--First Bowl: Loathsome Sores
2 So the first went and poured out his bowl upon the earth, and a foul and loathsome sore came upon the men who had the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image.
Second Bowl: The Sea Turns to Blood
3 Then the second angel poured out his bowl on the sea, and it became blood as of a dead man; and every living creature in the sea died.
Third Bowl: The Waters Turn to Blood
4 Then the third angel poured out his bowl on the rivers and springs of water, and they became blood.}

Thus the PLAGUES of Revelation 22:18 of which God warns for adding to His Word include at least the fire, smoke, and brimstone of Revelation 9; and the 1st 4 bowls of Revelation 16. That equals a minimum of 7 PLAGUES mentioned, none of which would I like to experience!

Revelation 22:18:19 is a warning to the Church of God, if any one tampers the biblical text will have the wrath of God come upon him as also mentioned in Deuteronomy 4:2.

The plagues in Revelation 16 will come to pass and justified as the angel of the waters justified the Lord’s doing as it is written “Thou art righteous O Lord which art, and wast, and shalt be, because thou hast judged thus” (Reve 16:5).

Thus this would be the plagues during the famine, pestilence, war and death by the sword, hunger and death by the beast of the earth as written in Revelation 6:8.
