        I believe it is all about discernment.  If you read garbage only, you are going to think garbage. I had a teacher once who said, "Garbage in, garbage out."
So where does that leave us? Oh wait! I know, in Sunday school, we teach, "Be careful little eyes what you see."
I guess we have the freedom to choose, so I would say that the answer lies in my dear friend, Ed. He would say, "Before I take the task of reading something, I think, is it worth my time and effort?"
