Satan was an angel created by God who turned against God's authority (Isaiah 14:13) and became the head of a kingdom of evil spirits called demons, his "angels" (Matthew 25:41). His power both in t...

The answer is very simple as in James 4:7:
"Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."

His power is people who follow him, but for those who resist him satan has no power at all.

How much of power does Satan posses.

It is my understanding and argument that theologians have misled the church in this area. Theologians have made us to believe that Ezekiel the 28th chapter and Isaiah 14th chapter had to do either the fall of Satan because of rebellion.

It is my argument that theologians have done this because they have no reasonable way to explain the birth or the existence of Satan. What they can not explain or have no answers for, they put it somewhere together and call it "gap theory"

The only information we have for all biblical knowledge is the Holy Bible. The Author of the Bible is God himself. This God tells us who created and why he created. Everything exists because of him.

Every thing lives because of him, nothing will be able to survive without him, be it animal or material matter. He is the power source. Without him there is no power.

With this in mind, the power that Satan posses is the power that has been given to him. Satan has no power of his own. The holy scriptures unveils the power that has been given to him. He is referred to as the "god of this world" (2Corinth:4:4) In the book of Ephesians he is called the "prince of the air". We are commanded to "Put on the whole armor of God" to resist and overcome his power.

This gives us some indication how much power he has. There is absolutely nothing Satan can do without God. The Power that he has is the power given to him.

It is my belief that when we come to know the God of the Bible, we will have no problem in understanding what is happening all around us. This God is in total control. He has been and will be from everlasting to everlasting.

This may shock many theologians and church leaders all over the world, Satan can do nothing on his own, he merely carries out his work portfolio. Again I say, you will only understand this when you come to understand"the God of the Bible"

If Satan is not from God, where did he come from. Did Satan created himself. Some would want us to believe that he was a good angel and became a bad angel.

May I very humbly remind all readers that Satan is not Gods opposition, neither he has the power to disrupt Gods plan. Can you imagine for a moment when we hear folks tell us Satan disrupts Gods plan and purpose.

May I ask "how can this be", who is able to stand before him, the sun with all its power, the boisterous storm which he silenced with his word. The might Red Sea, which was cut in two.

Imagine for a moment, the incorruptible word being conceived in Mary, Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him. (Genesis 5:24) Elijah caught up in the whirlwind. And he said unto them, I beheld Satan fallen as lightning from heaven. (Luke 10:18). Are we able to explain all this.

But there one thing we know together with all the theologians and church leaders that God had and has no problem with his creation called Satan. In fact he chastised him only once in the Book of a job, if I may say "for loafing"

The only creation God has a problem with is Man. We know the lengths God has been through to get Man to live a life of obedience. He had to sacrifice is very own.

To conclude I would say,God has given SATAN all the power he needs to get Man to "repent" and turn from his wicked ways.

Why didn't Satan simply kill Jesus?
Because it isn't that simply, God is the Father over Jesus and sent him with great and mighty purpose for the whole body of Christ. If Christ had of been tempted, as Eve and then Adam was, then he would have allowed the sin of disobedience to increase in the world instead of breaking the chains of sin and making a way for God's chosen.

That Jesus came and gave his earthly life over to God fully and was obedient and walked in the word, was the word and fulfilled his purpose completely here on earth to go on to the next level, he had divine protection and could not be destroyed before his time. Same with the believer's today, if we walk in faith, preserver through trials, going through our own personal process to become strengthen and developed in the spirit (perfection/maturity) you will and should notice that though the fiery darts are being thrown at you in life, still you are not harmed and have protection.

I wish I could share with you here some of my own amazing and wonderful experiences, but this is not the place and time and I have so many things to share with the precious body of Christ to glorify our Father and lift up the spirits of his chosen people, which is everyone of you!
