What are considered "good fruits"?

Matthew 7:15 - 20

ESV - 15 Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves. 16 You will recognize them by their fruits. Are grapes gathered from thornbushes, or figs from thistles?

I think that Paul summarized the fruits being asked about in Galatians 5:22-23. They are love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. These attributes, when reflected in a person's actions, will testify to the reality of the person's faith. The actions themselves do not save the person. (That is accomplished entirely by grace through faith (Ephesians 2:8-9).) But the actions will be consistent with, and an outgrowth of, the person's professed faith.

By contrast, false teachers, although they may "talk the talk", will not "walk the walk". Their lives and conduct will not be consistent with their professed teaching, and will not display the attributes noted above. In fact, they may be purposely using their teaching as a means of furthering a desire to actively oppose or undermine Christianity.
