Since God is both a multi-personal Being and the ultimate source of everything that exists, it is not surprising to me that He would have many titles.

Even on a human level, one person may at the same time have a large variety of differing titles and roles, such as a child, a sibling, a spouse, a parent, a grandparent, a cousin, an aunt or an uncle, a grandchild, an employee, a supervisor, and on and on.

In the same way, God simultaneously holds the titles corresponding to the roles, attributes, or functions of His Persons, with each one emphasizing or highlighting a different aspect of His Being, or the varying ways in which He has functioned in human history. These include (to name just a few) Father, Creator, the Everlasting, the Almighty, Sustainer, Son of God, Son of Man, Redeemer, Savior, the Word, Holy Spirit, Sanctifier, Helper, Advocate, Comforter, Counselor.

These titles are either applied to God directly by the Bible, or derive from the Bible's descriptions of His actions. They serve as a means to remember and to describe the many ways in which He has made Himself known.

God is God,He is multi-dimensional. We cannot put God in a box, He is greater than we realize. His work as Creator in Gen. 1:1 is just a part of His working in our lives. In history He is seen working in the lives of those He loves. He appeared to Abram in Gen. 17:1 as Almighty God. We see God in our way because we dwell in the flesh and not in Spirit. When Jesus talk to the woman at the well He said that in the day we will worship God in Spirit.
