Simply because no one ever prayed against territorial demons in the Bible, it does not mean that we shouldn't. If you receive revelation about spiritual warfare, you will receive understanding that you may need to arrest the Prince of Persia if you want to pass by him (Dan 10:13). God gave us the power to pull down strongholds. Do not expect the Bible to mention every action that you should take or shouldn't take. You are not a robot. You are a human being with a free will. You have the power from God to bind and to make lose. It is entirely up to you to be creative in the way you use this power. If you do not want to bind territorial demons simply because no one in the Bible did it, then that is your decision but it does not mean that it is sinful if someone binds a homosexual demon which attacks the people of Atlanta. The Bible is not an end in itself but it is a means to an end. The Bible contains inspiring words of God which can help us to learn and to grow. However, the Bible also contains personal opinions of individuals, testimonies, poems, music, law, culture & traditions, history and politics. Therefore, our learning is not limited to the Bible only. Remember that they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives so much that they were afraid to die (Revelation 12:11). Just listening to someone's testimony can be a revelation to another. Be open-minded and pray that the Holy Spirit guides you in whatever you plan to do. Lastly, there are things in the Bible which I can never do as a Christian and this is based on my personal understanding of Christ at a personal level. For example, Paul advised that a man who had committed incest should be murdered. To me, I can never advise anyone to kill another person. But that was Paul's opinion. However, there are so many of Paul's opinions which I like. So the spirit of God within me guides me accordingly. I do not just do things simply because someone in the Bible did it. And I would advise Christians to always check with God before acting whenever the holy spirit convicts them on something.
