It’s a difficult question and I do not pretend to know the will of God in every situation or the workings of the Holy Spirit. The medical community is in agreement that Alzheimer's disease destroys memory and affects many cognitive functions. There are various degrees and stages of this condition and sometimes it’s quite difficult to assess what a person can truly understand and think.

Accepting Christ as personal Savior is a conscious decision that we all have to make in order to be saved. Can a person with Alzheimer's capable of making such decision? Hard to tell! However, God is merciful and longsuffering, and if there is a way to save one more person, He will find it! “But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.” (Matthew 19:26)
