What should an on fire believer do in a lukewarm church?

What should a believer do if the church group he fellowships with is lukewarm, such as not standing up for the whole of Biblical truth or not volunteering with spiritual gifts to build up the church?
Should a believer leave, try to reform from within, take a teaching position, or what?

If after much prayer and soul searching you have the same convictions, the first step would be to have a private meeting with the pastor to discuss your concerns. If you find there are irreconcilable, major doctrinal differences in your beliefs the best thing to do is find another church body that you can fellowship with.

Assuming the pastor is a born again believer, the last thing you want to do is remain and undermine his teaching and position as leader. Doing so will only build up resentment, you will be labeled a troublemaker and despised.

You have laid out three answers within--pray to God for the one you should take. The only way a house is heated is by having some heat. It sounds like you have the fire--Gods instructs us to plant the seed(lead by example) and He will cause the increase. (1 Corinthians 3:6)
