Firstly we must understand that the concept of faith is defined in the Bible in Hebrews 11:1 and it is the substance of the things hoped for the evidence of things not seen.

Secondly, faith is not intuition or somebody's personal possession; neither is it an inbuilt quality or character, but it can be acquired by hearing God/Christ's word as we read in Romans 10:17. Therefore if someone says you do not have it, do not believe him/her. By reading the Bible (which is The Word of God) one can acquire faith.

Thirdly, our object of Biblical faith should be on God and Lord Jesus Christ as read in Mark11:22 and John 14:1.

These are the three fundamental aspects of Biblical faith. People who were commended by our Lord Jesus as having great faith had put their faith in Lord Jesus Christ after hearing about Him. Please remember that without faith it is impossible to please God (Hebrews 11:6)
