Christmas, Easter and more were originally pagan rites and in order for the "established" religion to try and draw them away, they made Christian celebrations coinside with the pagan rites of the return of the sun and fertility rites. Even the Christmas trees and lights are of pagan origins. So, you make up your own mind, do these things sound like something you want in your Christian Life? I say celebrate the birth, sacrifice, resurrection of Jesus EVERY Day as you walk and learn of God and our Saviour Jeses Christ and put away these things that the Catholic Church burdon men with
