If a Christian woman can't have children, is she cursed?

Would she be considered a bad wife? What does the Bible say about women who can't or don't conceive?

This question requires a bit of "Come let us reason together..". Before the Christ Child appeared on Earth, the 4000 years that it took for the Performance of the Promise to meet, (Gen 3:15, John 3:16, Luke 2:7-11) it was a sin for man to spill his seed on the ground in the event he had been chosen to carry the Promised Seed. Gen 38:9
In this case, the Promise Seed was to come through the tribe of Judah, and God punished this man righteously.

God always made a way for the Promise Seed to be brought forth. He used heathen women, men with less than honorable characters, but 4000 years later, Mary was chosen to give birth to God's Only Begotten Son.

Now that the Promise Seed has come, there is no longer the urgency to bear sons to procreate the linage for the Promise Seed to follow. If a couple decides to have children, bearing the financial, educational, and spiritual responsibilities, this is a wonderful thing. The Scriptures reflect that children are a gift from God. Psalms 127:3

However, if a couple can not have children, or choose not to have children, they are not cursed. The Promised Seed has come more than 2000 years ago. We are not awaiting the arrival of the Messiah. He has appeared as a child. We are waiting for His return as the Bridegroom to catch away the Bridal Party for the Marriage Supper of the Lamb. 1Thes 4: 16-18

In today's world, there are so many children that need loving Christian homes, it is sad to see couples struggle with many attempts to have a child. The greatest joy in all the world is to view the face of a child who feels your love when they truly felt they were totally unloved. There are times when God fills your heart and arms in a different way. Does that mean you are cursed? Not hardly! Highly Favored

Perhaps this is not a popular opinion, but taking care of those around us is the Great Commission.

Be Blessed,
Lena
