Atheism basically states that there is no God. Proverbs says that only a fool says there is no God..... It really boils down to whether one believes in the Creator God or not. If you do then there are responsibilities that come with that understanding. The first of which is faith-obedience!

Romans 1:5 through whom [Jesus] we did receive grace and apostleship, for obedience of faith among all the nations, in behalf of his name. If we love God and His beloved son Jesus we will be obedient to all that He has revealed for us to do through His son Jesus who said that all the words he spoke were not his but what the Father gave him to say!

If we keep those words God gave to Jesus to give to us then we will be building our house upon a rock - Jesus and nothing with prevail against us!
