Andy 3 photo Andy Mangus I am a Christian since October 1979 & devoted truth seeker.
In my usual short answer fashion, I will submit this: Remember, what God tells us many times, in various places in His Holy Word of Truth, His Holy Bible is that "We are to love others as we love ourselves". We are "to love our neighbors as we love ourselves", meaning we are to "put others first before ourselves, while denying ourselves." What does He mean by this concept! He means for us each to understand that "His love abounds"...that there is way more love available to us than we could ever know! The Bible tells us that "His love overflows into rivers of waters, that abounds with His everlasting unbounding Grace because of His love".

We are commanded in scripture to "Love our neighbors as we love ourselves". God created each of us with the propensity to know, give and live loving and caring lives, both first for ourselves and then, so that we can love others.

The sin of self hatred is giving an advantage to Satan in his quest to deceive you, depress you, discourage you, distract you; and, ultimately destroy you by convincing you that you don't deserve or need to "love others as Jesus loved the Church--the Body of Christ"-- or obey His laws that instruct each of us to live righteous lives, seeking Him in all that we do, say or think!

My Major Point is This: "God loves you and me, 'Oh, how He loves you...Oh, how He loves me...Oh, how He loves.....You -and- Me!"

"Jesus loves the little children..All the children of the World, Red and Yellow, Black or White, they are precious in His sight..Jesus loves the little children of the world. (Remember this very prominent children's Gospel Hymn?). It kinda says it all, doesn't it?

In His eternal love, God made each and every one of us. "We are His delight, His everlasting joy, for we are wonderfully and tenderly made in the image of God". God's message to His children: Don't hate what he hath made, for you are the very righteousness of God!
