Genesis 22:22-23 and Genesis 24 give a partial geneology but in short, Laban (Rebekah's brother) was the son of Nahor (Abraham's brother) making him Abraham's nephew. (See also Genesis 25:20) Later, Laban also became the deceitful father in law of Jacob when he substituted Leah for Rachel on their wedding night requiring that Jacob work seven additional years to get Rachel, the one he really loved. (Genesis 29).
