In this chapter, the woman described is sexually immoral. She is trying to have an affair on her husband, who is away on a trip. 

Here's how you identify her: 

Proverbs 7:10 -- She is dressed seductively and has a sly nature

Proverbs 7:11 -- She is brash and rebellious, never content to stay at home to take care of her responsibilities 

Proverbs 7:12 -- She is on the corners of streets, asking men to lay with her

Proverbs 7:15 -- She will say that you are special, that you are the one she was looking for all along

Proverbs 7:16 -- Her bed will have beautiful blankets, with colorful Egyptian linen

Proverbs 7:21 -- She will flatter and compliment you in order to lure you into her bed

This chapter concludes with a warning. It says that anyone going to see her is like an ox being led to slaughter. (Proverbs 7:22) It is like a deer caught in a trap, about to be killed. (Proverbs 7:23) Do not fall into her wicked schemes...she will ruin you. (Proverbs 7:26) Her house will lead you to the grave and her bed will lead you to death. (Proverbs 7:27)

Great question, Ernest! I can tell you what it means to be immoral as I used to be immoral before Christ saved me. I used to sneak out at night when I was a teen and meet up with the guys and girls. We each had our girlfriends.

Sexual Sin Is Ultimately Deadly (Proverbs 7:1-27)

The IMMORAL man tempts himself (Proverbs 7:6-9).
The IMMORAL man is tempted by the IMMORAL woman (Proverbs 7:10-20).
The IMMORAL man tempts the Lord (Proverbs 7:21-27).

Warren Wiersbe says of Proverbs 7:22, "Ox is a symbol of Ignorance." 

Proverbs 7:22 is listed in Bartlett's Familiar Quotations, Proverbs 7:22 KJV.

The youth made a sudden decision to follow the woman, and when he did, he began to act like an animal. No longer was he a young man, made in God's image, but an ox going to the slaughter...Humans are God's only creatures who elect what kind of creatures they want to be. God, of course, wants us to be sheep (Ps 23:1; John 10; 1 Pe 2:25), but there other choices such as horses (Ps 32:9), or hogs and dogs (2 Pe 2:22). When we're outside God's will, we usurp our privileges as humans made in God's image. 

This was my first sermon in Spanish, "The Strange (foreign) Woman." (Proverbs 5-7).

Like the deadly spider in the web, the woman was watching at the window, ready to pounce on her prey. Like Alex already said, she was a man's wife, but when her husband was out of town, she dressed like a prostitute so she could attract the men who were searching for her services (Ge 38:14-15; Eze 16:16). Compare Prov 7:10. 

Proverbs 7:11-12 She'd been in the streets, looking for victims 

Proverbs 7:19-20 She assures him that nobody will find out about it (except that someone's watching (Prov 7:6) and that her husband won't be home for many days. They have plenty of time to enjoy themselves.

Notice the adulteress’ strategies:

She is dressed to allure men (Proverbs 7:10)
Her approach is bold (Proverbs 7:13)
She invites him over to her place (Proverbs 7:16-18)
She cunningly answers his every objection (Proverbs 7:19, 20)
She persuades him with smooth talk (Proverbs 7:21)
She traps him (Proverbs 7:23)

To combat temptation, make sure your life is full of God’s Word and wisdom Proverbs 7:4). Recognize the strategies of temptation and run away from them—fast.

Regarding your Proverbs 7:5, "Flattery is her tool. Men are helpless before the seductive and smooth praise of a whore (Pr 2:16; 5:3; 6:24; 7:21). Samson could not resist the lying efforts of Delilah to destroy him and his strength. Here are two lessons: men must avoid communication with flirting women, and wives should praise their husbands. Proverbs are dark sayings, and every bit of wisdom should be extracted from them for you to maximize success in life. 

Godly men will strictly guard exchanges with women other than their wives in person, by phone, by email, or by text. Wise men are not moved by the lying words of liars, and there is hardly a greater liar than an unfaithful woman. She hides death and hell by her adoring and intimate words (Pr 2:18; 5:4-5; 7:27; 9:18). Prudent men know she has told others the same things in the past and will tell yet others similar things in the future.

Christian wives should adore and praise their husbands, so the flattery of whores will not affect them as much. Paul commanded wives to reverence husbands (Eph 5:33). Peter illustrated a wife’s spirit by Sarah calling Abraham lord, even in her thoughts (I Pet 3:6; Gen 18:12). Loving a husband, a duty of wives (Tit 2:3-5), includes loving him verbally. When was the last time you told or wrote your husband about the great man, provider, or lover he is? If he is not, then find those good things he is and tell him passionately." letgodbetrue

What does it mean to be immoral?

To be immoral means to intentionally violate accepted moral principles, acting in a way that is considered wrong, dishonest, or unethical by society. It involves knowingly going against standards of good behaviour, such as lying, stealing, or acting with malice. Immoral actions are generally seen as harmful.

Aspects of Immorality:

Violation of Standards: Acting against established ethical rules, social norms, or moral codes.

Intentionality: Unlike "amoral" (having no moral sense), being immoral means knowing the difference between right and wrong, but choosing to do wrong.

Examples: Acts often described as immoral include corruption, dishonest trading, sexual misconduct, and acts of violence.

Connotations: It implies wickedness, corruption, or impurity.

Toward the end of the forty years in the wilderness, thousands of Israelites were ensnared by the immoral practices of the Baal-worshipping Moabites, whose land they had to pass by en route to the Promised Land. Fornication and unclean sexual indulgence were the way of life of these Baal worshipers. The Encyclopædia Britannica notes that the "cult of the baals and Ashtaroth was characterised by gross sensuality and licentiousness." “Worship of these gods carried with it some of the most demoralising practices then in existence," The Westminster Historical Atlas to the Bible observes.

How dangerous are these worldly philosophies on morality! If one listens to them, he is certain to lose his right standing with God. God's laws are as up-to-date and applicable now as the day they were written.

Some may feel, though, that indulging in entertainment that graphically portrays immoral behaviour is harmless. They reason, 'I may watch it in movies or on TV, but I would never do such things myself.' Such reasoning is deceptive and dangerous. (Read Jeremiah 17:9.) If we find it entertaining to watch what God condemns, do we really "abhor what is wicked or immoral"?

Repeatedly exposing ourselves to wicked conduct will dull our senses. (Psalm 119:70; 1 Timothy 4:1, 2) Such a practice could affect what we do or how we view the sinful conduct of others.

A key principle is found in Philippians 4:8, which states: "Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honourable, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things."
